Readability statistics not showing in Word 2010
I have Office Professional 2010 installed on my computer (Windows 7 Utimate 64 bit).
Readbility statistics will show in Outlook when requested, but will not show in Word. Can this be somehow be corrected? |

Hi Mark,
In Word, have you checked the 'check grammar with spelling' AND 'show readability statistics' under Word Options > Proofing? Also, make sure you haven't checked the 'do not check spelling or grammar' option under Review > Language > Set Proofing Language.

I am having the same issue. I followed the step suggested by macropod and my word was set correctly. I still can't get the readability statistics to show up. The funny thing is I just figured out how to turn it on last night for the first time and it worked fine. Now it won't work?

As previously indicated, there are three things you need to ensure:
• 'check grammar with spelling', under Word Options > Proofing, is checked. • 'show readability statistics', under Word Options > Proofing, is checked. • 'do not check spelling or grammar', under Review > Language > Set Proofing Language, is not checked, for any of the content you want to include in the stats. The first two are global settings; the last has to be confirmed for each document.
