File Blocking!

This is my WORST experience with MS Office thus far!



File blocking is preventing me from saving MY OWN FILES created under 2007 version! I can open and edit documents but can't save. I have tried copying and pasting the files but even that is blocked. I have checked all file types for opening and saving under file blocking options in word. I have attempting some of the reg fixes posted on MS site. But nothing works!

I have never posted asking for help and usually just find my solutions from forums and internet postings. But this problem is the worst.

I finally solved that problem! Just make sure that in File Blocking Settings you uncheck all boxes under "open" or "save" and you check the option "Do not open selected file types" (I know it sounds crazy but that's what works).

I donno what's happening to MS. But they have been making their products less intuitive with every new version. If I wasn't getting their office suite through work, I'd use open office or something else.
