Template Margin Problem [Word]
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and really need some help. I downloaded a CV(resume) template of the net which I liked the look of. I needed to edit the sub-sections and rename then and generally modify the text to include the vital info I need to get across. I've ran into some problems though regarding what I can only describe as 'hidden margins'. I try to resize move the sub-sections up so that there aren't any large gaps between the information but I'm stopped from doing this by these 'hidden margins'. I can upload the file if anyone is interested in helping me out, or any advise in general (other than starting again) would be greatly appreciated. https://rapidshare.com/files/1268877...u_cv_prob.docx The main culprits are the ones between 'Skills' and 'Hobbies'. Cheers in advance, Gary. Last edited by garyedu; 11-06-2011 at 08:03 AM. Reason: added link |

Hi Gary,
The document is structured as a table. Anytime your insertion point is in the table, the 'Table Tools' Ribbon tabs will be accessible. If you click on Table Tools > Layout > Show Gridlines, you should be able to see the table structure. At the top of page 2 of your document are two empty table rows. If you select them, then choose Table Tools > Layout > Delete > Rows, that should move the 'Qualifications & Education' rows to the top of the page. You can edit other table rows likewise.
