Please help with header and footer removal

Greetings:



For some reason, I am unable to remove the header and footer on the first or 2nd page of a word document (.doc compatibility mode). In doing so, it will also remove the header and footer from the rest of the document as well. What am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just upgrade MSoffice 2003 to 2010.

You'll have to insert a section break and unlink the appropriate headers (and footers). See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting...atter_2007.htm (which applies to Word 2010 as well, even if it was written for Word 2007).
