New to MS Word and need some help please!
So I created a letterhead using my own clipart and such. The problem is I have that rectangle box around it, and when I first go to open the document my page is blank, and then when I start clicking on the page a bunch then my image shows up. I try writing additional text and what not and my original images keep appearing/disappearing everytime I click somewhere on the page. I am getting really frustrated. I am used to using Microsoft works, and just got a new cpu with ms word and having a hard time with this.
Thanks so much for anyones help and suggestions. |

Is the clipart too big for the letterhead? Can it be cropped further to fit? If the answer is NO, can you attach the document so that we can take a look?

I don't think it's too big, and I just made it in a plain document I think (blank page in word). I will attach it. I ended up making it in open office as well with no problems. But I would like to use ms word if I can since it has lots of neat things on it.
I have attached it. Thanks for getting back to me. |

Hi Chanla,
See if the attached letterhead is what you were trying to achieve. |

Instead of using a text box, place the pictures and text directly in the first page header. You can activate the header/footer area by double-clicking the header. Then select "Different first page" on the Header & Footer Tools Design tab.
For more on letterheads, see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Letterhead.htm.
