I dont know why I cant save custom styles anymore.

I save the styles set following this steps:

"To view the new Quick Style set, click Change Styles in the Styles group, and then point to Style Set. The new Quick Style set appears in the list so that you can apply it to a document at any time."



The problem is that: The new Quick Style set DOES NOT appears in the list !

Styles management in word is very very poor!

Any ideias?

Normally, the style set should be saved as a Word 2010 template (*.dotx) in C:\Users\<user_name_here>\AppData\Roaming\Microsof t\QuickStyles. Search in Windows for the style set name you specified and see what comes up. Perhaps it ended up in the wrong location.

In the long run, using templates will be safer than depending on style sets, though.

Yes it is there, I save the new style but it just does not appear at the styles list!!
The path is: C:\Users\Pedro\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\QuickStyl es
Word automaticaly send you to this folder when you click save style set as..

Do you think is better to use templates? Can you tell me more how do you do it?

How odd! Sorry, I haven't run into an issue like this one before, so I don't know what to suggest next. :-(

Templates are generally more useful, especially if you are working with numbered styles. For the basics on templates, start here:
