Default copy images from a word

Hi all,

In a word document, i have some text as well as images. When i give 'Edit->select all' only the text/characters are copied, but not the images.

What is the reason behind this?.. I need to accomplish this task, such that
Clrt-A should select all the content including text and images,
CLRTC should copy all the things

Friends please let me know.

It will be helpful to me if anyone show me a ray of light on this.

Thanks,
aras

If you activate the header/footer view, for example by double-clicking the header, then can you select the picture?

If you are actually using Word 2007, double-clicking the header should work, as I suggested in my previous reply. You'll notice how the header (and footer) becomes active and the main body of the document will be greyed out.

I don't know about OpenOffice (that would be the topic for an OpenOffice forum).
