Upside Down Question Mark?
Hello. After searching the forum for a bit and finding nothing related to my issue...here goes. I have a Word document that always inputs an upside down question mark on the first keypress and cannot figure out how to make it stop. When I open a new document it does not occur and PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook all behave as they should but this one Word document is causing me problems. Thanks in advance for your assistance. I am sure it is a setting specific to this document but I cannot find it. |

Based on your description, the language of the document is wrong. I'm guessing it's set to Spanish. Select all of the content, for example by pressing Ctrl+A, and then change to the correct language via Review tab | Set Language.
