Just a quick question. I was able to load and update Windows XP onto my mac for a job that I have. I wanted to ask if I can use Word 2010 with it, or do I have to buy a newer OS? |

Word/Office runs fine on Windows XP, but you should install Service Pack 3 first.

Do you know if I can get Word by itself, instead of having to buy the whole Office Suite?

Yes, each application can be purchased separately. See http://www7.buyoffice.microsoft.com/...che=1850023592. But note that if you use more than one application, buying a suite will be cheaper.
