Advanced Autocorrect?
I was recently looking into Autocorrect options for a document I'm working with. I am typing a lot of repeat chemical compounds H2O, H2SO4, P4, etc. and was hoping Autocorrect could subscript for me.
Is there a way to do this - even if it's with a macro that's running in the background? Bryan |

No, besides the capitalization options seen in the AutoCorrect dialog box, AutoCorrect entries insert specific pieces of text, not just formatting.
However, what you can do, if you use certain formulas frequently, is create formatted AutoCorrect entries that insert these formulas. To create a formatted entry, first insert an example formula in a document. Then select it and open the AutoCorrect dialog box (File | Options | Proofing | AutoCorrect Options). Type in a name for the AutoCorrect entry. Formatted AutoCorrect entries are saved to the Normal template, so if you receive a prompt to save Normal, choose to do so.
