Default How make WORD 2007 act like Notepad

Is it possible to make WORD 2007 act like NotePad? That is, I have a lot of code I need to bring into a word processor. I want to be able to mark it and hightlight it etc. Notepad does not accomodate this well.

However, I thought that perhaps I could bring it into WORD. By default, the way I have it set up, the code does not come into WORD looking good. Not like it does in Notepad. Lines need to be able to extend far to the right and with no special formatting or extra spaces between lines.

Is there a way to set some switches in WORD so that I can copy and past VBA code into it and have it look like it does when brought into Notepad?

Thank you

Hi
You can copy code into MS Word by cutting and pasting without losing any formatting. If a code line extends beyond the page width it will wrap around to the next line. However when you copy it back into a VBA Module the wrapped code line will revert to one line in your Module.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Thanks Tony,

I know I can copy it in without loosing indents etc, but I do not want it to wrap around. I want it to extend (like it would in Notepad) for as far as the line goes. And what's more, I don't want word to apply any special formatting like extra lines between rows etc. I would like for it to come into word looking the same way it does when it comes in Notepad; i.e., except for indents, no special formatting (extra lines) and line extended (no wrap around)

Hi
If this is what you need then why do you not just use Notepad?

Hi
Now I understand
Therefore I suggest you set-up a new template with a custom size page as wide as you want it.
When you then paste your code it will paste exactly as it appears in a module.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
