Default TOC: Link to bookmark or image

Is there a way to have an entry in a TOC that does not link to text, just a specific place in a document?

Basically what I'm trying to do is have a chapter that's delimited with an image. So in my table of contents there would be a section 3 that would just link to where my image is.

And then section 3.1 etc would be normal Heading 2 text or whatever (these are already there of course).

I did try the word help and googling around a lot, before resorting to bothering a new forum

Hi
Follow the steps below:

Highlight the whole text with your mouse. (Or, you can also press CTRL+A.)
Press the combination of CTRL+SHIFT+F9. (Remember! You must press these three keys simultaneously.)

Good luck.

Thanks! That sorted it for me...

For others reading this was the exact process:

- Highlight the whole TOC
- Ctrl + Shift + F9
- Now the table is in an editable mode, you can add whatever lines you like. I wasn't sure how to change what is linked to here but...
- Ctrl + Shift + F9 again and now the lines look like standard hyperlinks. You can change what they link to, including bookmarks, with right-click "Hyperlink..."

- If you do Update Table though, you'll lose your custom entries...
