Default Help with formatting

Hi all
I keep a Word (2007) file listing for reference all my CDs and DVDs.
To keep it neat and orderly, I have all data re composer and titles set full to the left, and then the TAB key which in the past has let me set the label and cat. number data full to the right .. the cursor moves full to the right and then my data enters as I type by filling in to the left.
Trouble is, I set the page form up so long ago I don't remember how I got it to do that. For some reason my Word doc has of its own volition lost all its settings and now I'm left with a whole string of glaringly unjustified lines. NOthing I do can get back to how it was before. Can anyone advise?

Hi
It would help if you were able to post a sample with an explanation of what you need. Then we can see how to help you further.

Hi there
Here's an example: I've taken this from an outdated version of my file.
You'll notice that using the TAB key after inputting the first lot of info lets me then type in catalogue details full-out left -- the cursor moves full-right, then the type sort of back-spaces as I type. I don't know how to format a blank document to achieve this look.

Hi
Now I understand what you are tryint to achieve.
What you need to do is set a right hand tab position in each of the cells/columns in your table. The enter the first text and press Ctrl+TAB to start entering text frokm the right hand side of the cell.
Good luck.
