Default Moving columns

When I move a column inside of Word, the column automatically resizes it's width to the same width of the column that I moved it next to.

Is there a setting that would allow the column being moved to retain the same width when it's moved?

Thanks!

As far as I know, there is no way around the problem you mention. You will have to resize the column after it has been moved. :-(

Right on, Stefan. Thanks! I didn't think so either, but wanted to confirm.

Thanks again!
