Is there a way to use "find/replace" ( or some alternate) to find italics words, or some other formatted word, such as 14 pt. formatted words? I have often had to manually search through a document to change the size of italics to a larger font in order to make it more readable.

This is usually a large document that someone else has produce and they made the italics words smaller than the non-italics. This is just one example of needing to search for all occurrences of some particular format and replacing with another format.

Yes there is. In the Find and Replace dialog box (Ctrl+H), click More to see all options. With the insertion point inside the "Find what" box, click Format and then specify the formatting you want to search for. Similarly, you can replace (formatting) with other formatting, by repeating the procedure with the insertion point in the "Replace with" box.

Thank you very much. And I always tell other people to "read the manual". Maybe I'll learn to do that too. This will be an immense help to me.
