Default How to make two independent columns not using fields and tables

Hi!
Please help me with my problem. I'm using OFFICE 2010
I'm doing right now translation from Polish to English and there is one thing I MS WORD that I cannot achieve.

Basically I want to split my whole document into two independent documments. So I want the effect of two columns but independent columns. So in my *.docx file I will have one heading and one footnote and two independent columns. See for attached example for better understanding.

I have also to say that FIELDS and TABLES dont works for me.

Hi
Looking at your example MS Word Tables are the best way forward for you. You cannot have independent documents inside another document side by side. I have enclosed a sample of what it may look like based on your example.
Let me know if this does not help you and I will look at other options in order to help you.
Good luck.

Hi,
Thanks for fast reply!
To be honest I have to say that I didnt know that I can put Table inside Table - that was the main reason for me to say that "TABLES dont work for me".
General I'm just affraid that I will have problems with proper formating text inside TABLE CELL.
I do really think that MS should implement some kind of tool to do it.

Hi
Formatting of text inside a table cell is no different to formatting text outside of a table. If you are having any issues then come back to the forum and I am sure we will be able to help you further.
Incidentally just in case you are not aware, to insert a tab in a table cell you need to use Ctrl+Tab.
Also the example I sent you which includes a table inside a table is called nested tables just in case you need to search for further help via the Web.
Good luck.
