I am typing separate chapters of a book and each chapter will be printed individually.

How do I start a new 30 page chapter with the page number 25


and have the numbers on each page appear in sequence from p25 to page 55??

Have not been able to find a solution to this using google

If you are creating the Chapters in the same document then you will need to use "Section Breaks" between each Chapter. Then when you create page numbers in the footers you have the option to determine the starting page number when you insert the page number field. There is an option in the dialogue box that appears where you can enter the starting page number.
