start the first page of a doc with a no other than one???

I am typing separate chapters of a book and each chapter will be printed individually.

How do I start a new 30 page chapter with the page number 25
and have the numbers on each page appear in sequence from p25 to page 55??

Have not been able to find a solution to this using google

Thank you for your help with thid frustrating problem.
