Default Anyone ever seen this page width issue? New one to me...

I've been collaborating with a Windows Word colleague on a doc, and on the last version the right hand side of the page widened for some reason.

Niether of us can figure it out. Margins, page size/setup are all still the same, but visually there's this extra space now.

Any ideas? (PNG screenshot attached)

Help much appreciated!

Matt

Track Changes appears to be activated, in which case Word reserves space for the markup and comment balloons on the right. You can turn off Track Changes by pressing Ctrl+Shift+E. (If there are any changes already added to the document, you can right-click them and choose Accept or Reject from the context menu.)

Yes! That looks to be it. Not sure why they don't just put those in the "off page" margin instead of extending the page, throws the look of the layout off.

Thanks for your help.

I'm glad I could help.

I agree that the onscreen representation of a document with markup in it is misleading.
