Is there a way I can search and list all Word documents on my computer or find all Word documents that have a special word in them? I have old files on my computer transferred from my old computers and my Documents section is messed up when I tried to transfer all my data to a new User. I have so many folders in different locations that it would be far easier to somehow have a "grand list" so I know I would be able to see all the documents in one listing.

Hi Frank
Yes you can search in File Explorer for all files ending in ".doc" and set the search to look at your whole computer. This will give you a list of ALL files ending in ".doc" on your system.

In addition, you can search for specific words or phrases. Just enter them in the Search box in a Windows Explorer window.
