Default Duplicating linked files for different clients

Hi all

I have built an excel sheet that is linked to certain parts of a word document,
so that i can input data on the excel which automaticly updates the word document and i can then send the both to my customer.

However when i use the same two documents for my next customer and save it as Excel "B" and word "B" if i ever go back to that customer specific documents and change something the word document is always linked to the original "A" excel sheet,

I Would like to use sheets "A" as a template really (as only a few things change in the excel sheet) but every time they are both saved they are linked to only their corresponding documents so i have

EXCEL "A" linked WORD "A"
EXCEL "B" linked WORD "B"
etc

is this possible ? or everytime i save the new document do i need to redirect every single link in WORD "C" to EXCEL "C" ?

thanks

Jack
