Default Can't tab from field to field in form

I have created a template in Word 2007 with fields. I have protected the document. When we create a new document from the template the form is protected and we can only enter information in the fields but we can't tab from field to field. Is there a way to set this up so that we can tab from field to field?

Elayne

I can't tell much about your form because it is protected with a password. It appears that your content controls are type "rich text" which take a tab as a tab (not a proceed to next). See:

Delete the rich text controls and use plain text type instead. It is help if you add "Titles" to the controls using "Properties."

Hi, I hope you'll see this soon, where can we set the rich text formatting? Where can we switch it on off? Thank you!

Rich Text Formatting is a property of the Rich Text Content Control. In that sense, you can't switch it on or off.
If you want to allow Rich Text Formatting, use the Rich Text Content Control.
If you don't want to allow Rich Text Formatting, use the PlainText Content Control.
