Default How to cancel printing??

I recently updated to Office 2010 & am quite surprised to learn that the option to cancel a print job midstream is gone! I have attached a screenshot of an old-style "Print Dialogue" box with the "Cancel" option in the lower right. This is very similar to the dialogue box that popped up when I wanted to print a Word document in Office 2007. Any suggestions on how to reinstate this obvious & commonly-used option would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I created a shortcut for my printer & have to manually open & cancel whatever documents are in the queue--a multiple-click solution that not only wastes unnecessary time, but more importantly, wastes paper: the longer it takes me to cancel, the more unintended pages get printed out. This is neither an elegant nor acceptable solution. Thanking you in advance for your attention to this matter.
