Different printers. Whether you print or not, Word and your printer communicate, deciding where page breaks fall and such. Word is a word processor and this is how word processors work.

This is why you cannot take a Word doc to a professional printing service. They know the doc might look different to them, so they make you submit as a different type of file, such as pdf.

Thank you very much for your help, kimberly..I was about to get mad about this problem. So, in this way it seems my client and i have different sort of printers thats why the problem is occurring. So what could be the possible solution to have the document view same in both end.

Again thanks in advance.

You can save the file as a pdf file.

If you are trying to pass the file back and forth for editing though, pdf really isn't an option, and it might not be possible be sure your Word doc looks exactly the same, but try finding a printer that you both have, like Microsoft Document Writer, or maybe OneNote printer.
