How do I view a document in "normal" view...
I'm working on a document that I didn't create that is riddled with page breaks which I don't typically use. The document shows up on my screen "squished" as little pages because it only shows what's on the page between the breaks. How do I make it look "normal" and not squished?
Thanks for the help! |

I've clicked every view possible and none of them show me a regular view of the pages without the breaks.....

I finally got it resolved!
And thought I would share how since it's not something one would think of. I had to go into "Word Options" then open the "Display" window, and check the box at the top to "show white space between pages in Print Layout view". Now it looks normal. Page breaks drive me mad!

Oh, thanks for letting us know.
You can also point at the top of the page and you will get a pair of white boxes for a cursor. Double-click to turn it off or on. |
