Hi, I am working on a document with about 100 examples numbered using LISTNUM fields. Is there a way to convert these fields to text once the document is finalised? I want to keep the numbering but prevent any unexpected changes from happening (everytime I reopen the document, the arabic numbers go back to roman numbers, for instance). I've tried the Ctrl/A Ctrl/Shift/F9 recommendation, but it doesn't seem to work in my version of Word (Word 2011 for Mac). Many thanks in advance for your help, E. |

You can open the VB Editor (ALT+11), paste this line in the immediate window:
ActiveDocument.ConvertNumbersToText and press enter. Or, Select all the fields and press CTRL+SHIFT+F9 |
