I need to create lots of numbered bullets or step-action tables in my Word Document (2007). Sometimes, I copy and paste from previous work and edit the contents accordingly. However, each time you paste a numbered bullet or table, it always continues from previous one. Then I have to right-click it and select "Restart at 1".
Is there a way that the pasted number automatically start from 1? Thanks. Last edited by drlili; 07-22-2011 at 03:59 PM. Reason: add relevant contents |

Hi drlili,
No, you have to restart the numbering, if that's what you want Word to do.

Thanks for your response, Macropod! I wish there were a way to restart from 1 instead of repeating "Restart at 1" each time.
