"Full strength" header?

Question "Full strength" header?

I'd like to insert a graphic into a header and have the result displayed in its original colors. But information in the header is grayed out, at about 50% opacity.
For example, in a graphic I use a vivid green (35A065, or r53, g160, b101). But when I place the graphic in the header, this color displays as a pastel green (7DCBA9, or r125, g203, 169).
Is there any way I can maintain the original graphic colors in the header?

I'm using Word 2007 on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine.

Hi Rodieck,

That is how Word works, and you can't change it. However, the Word will still print the header content in full contrast & brightness.

Thanks, Paul. Learning that something is not possible is useful information. I'll just have to take a different approach.

I'm new to this forum -- how do I mark this thread as solved? And can I give credit to Paul for the answer?

Hi Rodieck,

Marking a thread as 'solved' is done via the 'Thread tools' (I've done it for you).

I'm not sure about 'giving credit', though you can give a thread a ranking.
