Horizontal line at bottom and top each page

hello I am using Word 2010

I am trying to add a thick horizontal line at the bottom and top of every page, it's for my dissertation and noticed someone else doing it and thought it looked nice

Hi BrutalLogic,

Got to Page Layout > Page Setup > Layout > Boders and choose the border arrangement you want.
