I’m creating a form in MS Word 7, and want to incorporate a drop down menu with a “check” (windings þ”254”) and “uncheck” (windings ¨"168”) feature. This document will be used on a computer and the user should have the capability of selecting either the "checked box" or the "unchecked box".
I selected the "Developer" tab; under “Controls”, I selected the “Drop-Down List”, I want to add two symbols, one of a checked box and the other of an unchecked. I see instructions to add words but not instructions to add symbols. If there is another option to have have a form with a drop down menu in MS Word 7, please let me know. |

Hi sm5948,
For the text, hold don the Alt key while typing 0254 and 0168, respectively, on the numeric keypad. Format the content control with the Wingdings font.
