How to save the current page in a new file with all the page settings (header, footer
How to save the current page in a new file with all the page settings (header, footer, page number, margins, etc???
This question sounds to be easy as there might be more than one way to work around...! what i used to do is to save all the document in anther file and then to delete all the pages except the one that i need!!!!! I'm looking for more practical way!!!! it is the same when we print, we can choose the pages that we need to print...! why we don't have this option for saving????? regards Jamal

Hi Jamal,
If your page setup is the same as the template upon which the document is based, you can simply create a new document based on that template, then copy the page into it. If you want the page header & footer, you will need to copy & paste those separately.

Actually, i think it is quite impractical do this much of work just to save one page in a new file with exactly the same format...!!!! in this case: i need to copy the body then the header the the footer then to reset the page margins then to set footer and header margins why Word doesn't have a command like "Save current page"?????? and this will take all the formats and setting as they are??? regards Jamal

Hi Jamal,
What I said is correct. - Youl will only need to adjust the margins if your page setup is NOT the same as the template upon which the document is based. Of course, the process can be automated with a macro. There are probably dozens of such macro available on the web.
