![]() In MS Office 2010 you can save as any document to pdf, html, txt, rtf....but how do you do that with hundreds of files? It would be pretty silly and time consuming to open each document and save it to a specified format.. |

Hi Metamag,
Opening each document and saving it to the specified format is exactly what's required. You can, of course, automate this with a macro. For an idea of what can be done in this regard, see post #15 in: https://www.msofficeforums.com/vba/7...ction-etc.html

So, you are saying I should look for a specialized software to do this, any good reliable ones you can recommend?

Hi Metamag,
No, I'm not saying any such thing. All I've said is that the files have to be opened & saved to the specified format and that the process can be automated with vba. The link in my post shows how one might implement such automation.
