Default Numbering Problem in New Template

Hi guys,

I was hoping somebody could help me as I'm really struggling to create a new Word Template.

I basically need to create a new report template. Using Styles the report is setup as follows:

Heading 1 - Produces my Chapter heading ;
Heading 2 - Produces a Secondary heading;
Heading 3 - Tertiary heading within report;
Heading 4 - Paragraph text.

Heading 1 Style (chapter heading) is numbered 1.0, 2.0, 3.0... and is set for Heading 4 (paragraph text to follow). Under the first chapter this works fine as below:

1.0 Chapter 1

1.1 Text for report

1.2 Following paragraph of text.

However, when i use Heading 1 style to insert the second Chapter Heading i.e:

2.0 Chapter 2,

the Heading 4 style numbers my paragraph's 1.x instead of 2.x.

I hope this makes sense, but by way of assistance I have uploaded a copy of the template to the web so you can see what is happening:

DivShare File - ES Template Draft A.dotx

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks
