Default Word Crashes immediatly on start up

Ive tried to repair word with my CD's and i even uninstalled and reinstalled. I'm using Microsoft Officer Stundent and Teacher Edition 2003. I click on the application it starts up, tries to recover a document and then crashes. If you would like i could post the error report here.

Yes, please post the error. What document does it say it's trying to recover right before it crashes? it's possible that your normal.dot file is corrupt and is causing it to crash. but if you're uninstalling/reinstalling it shoulnd't do that...
