If you try to implement the latter, be prepared for a significant backlash.
Thanks Paul
Just to clarify. The word/Excel document is saved to htm. What I want to do is access the Html text of the Word strock Excel document using Word or Excel as the editing tool and insert the tracking code into the html word/excel header. Do you know if this is possible?

Thanks once again for your time
