Combining documents of different formats
Hi there!
I have two different documents, and I would to add a page of one document to the end of another. So, I made a page break and copy&pasted the text where I wanted. Unfortunately, the text I copied morphed into the formatting of the document I copied it into. Instead of a compact table, I have something that spans pages. I tried changing up word spacing, page sizing, etc but no dice. Even when I copy and paste two lines of random text, it changes formatting. I tried doing the opposite and copypasting the other document into the other, but then [I]that[I] section loses its formatting. Sigh. tldr; any simple way to combine two documents whilst retaining the formatting of each? Help is very much appreciated (: |

Hi Blaie,
Two issues: 1. If the source document's page layout is different, a page break won't do. You'll need to insert a Next page Section break and format the page layour for the new Section appropriately; 2. If you want to retain the source formatting, adjust Word's paste options accordingly.
