revert to default text after hyperlink

After I insert a hyperlink in a Word document the font characteristics stay the same as the hyperlink. How do I get the font to revert to the default font?

Hi gerri,

That's possibly because Word hasn't worked out that you've finished inputting the hyperlink. What I find works best is to insert the hyperlink after I've already inserted some of the text that is to follow it.
