How to link this number with the numbering system???

please, see the attached image that shows my question

my case:
-----------------------------
1. the rasters of arestian pressure (A), recharge (R), top soil (T), SM, BM are combined based on the equation (‎4.1)
2. the rasters of land use, flow type and slope are combined based on the table Table ‎4.3.
3. the combined raster obtained from (2) is combined with the raster of catchment based on the relationship depicted in Table ‎4.2.
-----------------------------
above, in point number 3, the number shown between brackets is typed manually, and thus in any editing task, this number will not be changed according any change in the numbers! how to link this number with the numbering system?

Hi Jamal,

If you're using Word's auto-numbering for the paragraph numbers, you can insert a cross-reference to it as a 'numbered' item.
