Make list of existing paras
Hello ...
I have a doc that has 10 paras, each beginning with a number, as follows: 1 Para number one. 2 Para number two. 3 Para number three. etc etc I'd like to make these 10 paras into a numbered list but the fact they each begin with a number is giving me a problem. If I strip the leading numbers I can get a perfect numbered list (1-10) but this seems counter-productive, esp if I am dealing with much larger data. Is there an easy method - which I am obviously missing - to convert the data (as is) smoothly into a numbered list? your advice is much appreciated ... |

Thank you for your reply ... I may have even confused myself with how I described my "problem" ... Each of my paras already starts with a number ... and when I tried to apply a numbered list the result was not what I expected. However, I have determined the problem is actually related to the normal.dot that came with the doc ... once I "cleared" that up, the numbered list worked fine. Garbage in/Garbage out ... thanx again
