Default Caption Cross-Referencing

I am now having a very strange problem with cross-referencing. Here is the docx file:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2082546/test.docx

It has two tables with one figure caption inside each of them. Outside of these tables, I put two cross-referencing for both captions with the "entire caption" selected for both, and then I've added \# 0;0 to both of the cross-references. First one shows just the number and the second one still shows all the caption, number and label. I tried \# 0, but with no luck!

Would you please have a look and let me know what is wrong with it.

Thank you very much!

Hi b0x4it,

It appears you inserted a cross-reference to the entire caption. For the technique to work, it can only do so if the cross-reference is to the caption lable & number.

Thanks for the reply.
But this technique works perfectly for one of them that is for "entire caption" too. Why does it work for just one of them? Do you have any explanation of we have to consider it as a bug?

Hi b0x4it,

You could hardly call an undocumented workaround that's being used to circumvent the way Word is designed to work a bug. Microsoft has no obligation to have its products work in any particular way when we do this.
