Need Help With Making Printable Flash Cards
Hi All. I am using Word 2003 on my laptop with Windows 7, Home Edition, OS, and am trying to format Word in such a way as to be able to print old-fashioned, two-sided, paper flash cards that have the word to be learned on the front, and the definition on the back. I don't know very much about using Word, so I don't know if I should be making my template by using tables, text boxes, cells, or whatever, for each card. I would like to print four 3" x 5" flash cards per sheet of normal 8 1/2" x 11" paper, with the paper being used in the "landscape" orientation.
In addition to needing help with how to format the template, I am also in need of advice as to how I should go about printing/arranging the cards, so I can print one side with the words to be learned, then flip the sheet over, allowing me to print the definitions on the back of the sheet in such a way that the words on the front side correspond to the definitions on the back, of course.
Could someone please give me a step-by-step, detailed tutorial on how to do this? Brief answers, such as, "Use tables," won't help me much, because, as stated, I don't know much about using Word.
Any help would be much appreciated.
