![]() I have a large document template that contains references and embedded worksheets. Is it possible to link items in the embedded worksheets to appear in the document without referring to the document name in the link (as the name will change as this is a template rather than a finished document). As an example, I have charts that are produced in the worksheet as data is updated that I'd like to be shown at the correct place in the document but if I use an OLE link it uses the document name for the link. |

Hi rwbarrett,
The source file's name is an essential part of the link. So, no, you can't have a link without it.
