Printing to Envelope Feeder
Hi guys,
I have been put in charge of migrating the office from WordPerfect 10 (yes, that's about back in the year 2000), to Office 2010. I really appreciate having these forums here to help! My current issue is this: I'm trying to print an envelope to our envelope feeder. In WordPerfect, we would just go to Page setup -> setup Envelope #10 to print to the envelope feeder, and that was that. In Word 2010, I go to Print -> Page Setup -> Select Envelope #10 as the size (it's just a normal size envelope) -> Select first page AND other pages to "Envelope feeder", Apply to "Whole document" and hit ok. I then try to print an envelope from the "Mailings" tab, but the printer is asking me to put the paper in tray 1. How can I set this up to go to the envelope feeder automatically? Thanks! UPDATE #1: If I set the envelope to "plain" on the printer, I can get it to print correctly. I'd rather setup Word to automatically see it as Envelope BOND, if possible. How do I do that? I think I may have finally solved the problem, and it looks like Word is keeping my settings as default which is good!
To print to BOND ENVELOPE from ENVELOPE FEEDER: 1) Click Mailings 2) Click Envelopes 3) Click Options 4) Make sure Envelope Options tab is showing the proper envelope size (4 1/8 x 9 1/2 in my case or 4.12 x 9.5") 5) Make sure PRINTING OPTIONS tab is set to FEED FROM ENVELOPE FEEDER Thanks! |
