Cannot enlarge text within Flow chart
Hi
I have been trying to think a bit where should I make the post - to Word or to Excel forum. My question is related to both but somehow I decided for Word because Im having problems within Word. So what I do is trying to copy/paste the flow chart from Excel (copying it) to Word (pasting it). Flow charts has of course many different geometric shapes such as circles, rectangles and so on. In each geometric shape is some text inside. Im having huge issues with those text. I have made the flow chart manually inside Excel. Within word I choose on the template entire flow chart and copy it. Then I go to Word then I click menu Edit and choose Paste Special. While ''Paste:'' is enabled, I choose ''Picture (Enhanced Metafile)''. What happens is that the picture (flow chart) gets pasted to Word. Thanks God that the picture gets automatically resized so it fits on one page. But whichever font size of text which is inside flow chart's geometric shapes, after pasting to Word and after printing it, the text is always too small. I have been trying a lot, even resized each geometrical shapes (lost two hours+ just because of this) but no luck getting text large enough. I would prefer to NOT resize those shapes anymore (if there is a way to fix the issue so) because it really takes a way too much time. Any help, how should I enlarge the text, would be appreciated. |

Pasting as picture
Unless I'm missing something, when you paste as a picture, Office locks the elements into place relative to each other, so that all sizing is proportional. In practice, it is typically the case that when working in Excel, sizes appear reasonable, as if they should easily transfer to a standard page, but they actually require considerable shrinking to do so. For instance, what seems to be a reasonable number of columns in Excel turns out to need 13 or 15 inches when printed, not the 7 or 7.5 of a portrait-oriented standard page, or even 9 or 9.5 if turned to landscape.
I suspect this may be your problem in going between the two. It may help you to turn on Excel's page boundary view (View/Page Break View). Best, Ulodesk |

I need all on only one page, not several ones. But text on this one page should be big enough.
