I have a list I want to format in bullet form. So I highlight the list and click on the bullet icon. When I do, the line above it (which I didn't highlight) indents as well. It is behaving as if the two lines are connected. Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks so much. Last edited by macropod; 05-18-2011 at 02:42 PM. Reason: Reduced over-sized font |

Hi Alamorchgirl,
Are you sure they're separate paragrahs, and not just different lines within the same paragraph? Triple-clicking on some text will select the entire paragraph containing it. If there's more than you expect selected, that means it all one paragraph. Additionally, clicking on the ¶ symbol on the Ribbon's Home tab will reveal the document's formatting. If the lines you're concerned with are not terminated by a ¶ symbol, they're not separate paragraphs.
