Is there an easy way to autopopulate some text in a Word document to another section in the same doc. Say for example, I have this in the first sentence: Reference #_____________ . If I type a reference number where it's underlined, could it autopopulate the same Ref # in another area of the same document?
I do know how to do this by using example #2 (on line form) at this website: http://gregmaxey.com/Repeating_Data.htm but was hoping for something like a macro or inserting an excel object to do this. Although the above sample works well, this form is for someone who isn't that familiar with word and would like something without having to protect the document. Any ideas? Thanks for your help and time! |
