I would like to create a contract so that when I open the document it will take me to a page of presets to fill in. Once I am finished with filling in the presets, it will open the contract with everything filled out. Example
Date Client name Address phone etc. |

I have created form fields in my contract but when I fill out those form fields it begin to move everything in the line the forward. How do I lock the text in place further down the line?
Do I need to create columns so that the text added in one column does not effect the form and text in the same line? |

Hi Todd,
You can put the formfields concerned into table cells with fixed row heights. That will prevent the layout changing - just be sure to allow enough space for the fields to wrap, if need be. If you fix the cells' width as well as the height, anything extra a user might type into the field will be stored, but not displayed. You can also limit the # characters that can be typed into a field.
