I was trying to make some edits to normal.dotm in word 2007 / windows 7.

I followed all the directions of clicking on the office icon and then templates - the problem is that normal.dotm is already open and when I look at the contents it appears that it is empty.

What am I doing wrong?



Where is this file stored I tried searching for it to no avail.
