Question Why is my document lose its layout when saving from MS Word 2010 to MS Word 2016 Format

I've thousands of Word 2010 documents, whenever I'm saving any of the document in MS Word 2016 Format; while saving if not checking the "maintain Compatibility" checkbox, the whole layout is changed.
if someone can help me out to maintain the layout. I've attached two files/images. I need to have the same layout of MS Word2010 in word2016 .

I think its just playing with tabs, am very much confused, not able to regain that layout of ____ ____. after paragraph mark.
2016Format (lost the layout, see TABS position)

2010 Original Format
Thanks for help.
