Hi kristain,

I can't see how an Endnote Separator could explain the lines - especially near the top of a page. In any event, that separator only appears on pages on which Endnotes appear - another element for which evidence is lacking in the images. Even Footnote Separators only appear near the bottom of the pages on which footnotes exist.
